We went at 3 PM on a Sunday and there was a line. Took about 15 minutes to order at kiosk and get the drinks; which is not bad. Had the strawberry matcha and the creme brulee hurricane and loved both of them! Would suggest getting regular sweetness and 35% ice in the strawberry matcha!
One of the best matcha spots ever. The matcha has the right amount of flavor and boldness, without being bitter. I have a hard time picking my favorite drink, but you can’t go wrong with the honey matcha latte or the strawberry matcha latte. Expect to wait in line, but it is worth it.

I absolutely LOVE the matcha here. my go-to order is the creme brulee matcha and I am so obsessed!! my only complain would be the long wait and the store may be dirty sometimes.
I've been going to Izumi for years and I've loved seeing the success they've been seeing recently. The drinks are always solid, service is always quick and nice, and I love how close I live to it haha. I never have to worry about my drinks being too weak and the flavor combos are top tier. I just wish parking was better, the plaza is kind of a mess.
This place serves Marukyu Koyamaen matcha and is really nice to get matcha drinks. If you follow their IG, they sell limited quantities of the matcha powder too.
one of the best matcha spots in the bay, serves marukyu koyamaen matcha. the SJ location sells chigi no shiro, isuzu, and aorashi for cash only if you follow them on IG (2 canister max). less of a line than the Cupertino location. the sweetened options are barely sweet to let the matcha shine (and I’m someone who usually orders drinks with 0-25% sweetness). matcha soft serve tasted more creamy than matcha - would not recommend unless you want a strong milky flavor.
I'm happy that this place is still in business because their matcha soft serve is really good. I do prefer them over the more well known chain. I do wish they bring back the hojicha soft serve and taiyaki.
